Comic-Con-LogoSan Diego Comic-Con 2013 is one of the most awaited entertainment expo of this year.

The celebration of comic, movies, films along with celebrity appearances makes it a worthwhile event to look forward to. The Comic-Con convention gets around 500,000 visitors per year and is held at the San Diego Convention Center  near San Diego Gaslamp District. Traditional comic-con events include an eclectic film program, screening rooms devoted to Japanese animation, gaming, as well as over 350 hours of other programming on all aspects of comic books and pop culture.

San Diego County Fair is one of the awaited summer attractions in San Diego County.

The San Diego County Fair 2013 is named “Game On!” and is going to be held at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. Del Mar, California. This year the fair will be open from June 8th till July 4th. You can visit anytime between 10 AM to 11 PM.

The San Diego County Fair is the largest annual event in San Diego County and the 4th largest fair in North America. So it draws more than 1.5 million visitors annually. You will find lots of entertainment alternatives for kids and adults. You will find food, rides, shows, animals, concerts and lots of fun in the San Diego County Fair 2013 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

To enjoy your fair time, you need to pay $14 as an adult, for seniors and for kids (6-12 years) admission you have to pay $8 each and kids under 5years old can enjoy the fair for free. If you are looking for games, this year you will find various games like card games, board games, video games, game shows and many more. From the “Ferris Wheel” you will enjoy the incomprehensible view of the Pacific Ocean.

Mount Soledad

If you brought your camera, Mount Soledad should be a must see on your list of things to do during your San Diego trip. With the most spectacular views in San Diego, on a clear day you will be able to see La Jolla, Downtown, Mission Valley, and maybe even Mexico. The monument honors living and fallen US soldiers and attracts visitors from all over.

Old Town

Take a step back into history as you enter the birthplace of California. The history and culture that remains a part of old town brings local residents and tourists alike over 25 restaurants in a mile radius all offering authentic and cultural cuisine…yes we’re talkin’ margaritas and homemade tortillas. In addition to the food and shopping, Old Town hosts many events and has nightly entertainment in many of the restaurants located here.

The Gaslamp District

Balboa Park

La Jolla Cove

If you’re looking for a day in the water, La Jolla Cove in San Diego is most desirable spot for swimming, snorkeling and diving.

Most commonly known as the place with all the seals, this gorgeous cove provides fantastic scenery, and the perfect backdrop for a midday picnic in the Scripps Park, or romantic spot to spread out on the rocks and watch the sunset.

In a city known for having perfect beach weather, pretty much all year round, you have to expect good beaches. And this is exactly what you get in San Diego.
