Peace, love and happiness. Throw on some love beads, put a few flowers in your hair and be ready to get your groove on this Wednesday, August 3rd at Hippiefest 2011. The concert will be at Humphry’s for their Concerts By the Bay series, located on Shelter Island Drive.
This years musicians are ready to bring you one heck of a show. The co-founder of Traffic, Dave Mason, the former Grand Funk lead singer Mark Farner, singer/songwriter Rick Derringer and Felix Cavaliere from Young Rascals will all be displaying their talents at this years fest. Hippiefest 2011 also includes the gold single recipient Gary Wright who is best known for “Dream Weaver” which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Purchase a concert package and have dinner before the show at the amazing Humphreys Restaurant just a hop, skip and a jump from the venue. Or go all out and enjoy dinner and also stay the night at the tropical Humphreys Half Moon Inn & Suites. Can’t get any better than that!
