What: Fall for Arts

When: Friday, October 5 from 5 to 10pm

Where: Liberty Station

Description:  Free open artist studio and galleries will be available for viewing at Fall for Arts, which kicks off a month dedicated to culture in San Diego. Make sure to bring the kids, as there’s a puppet show, children’s book art and eats from various food trucks. The event is free and open to everyone.

 

 


What: Pacific Beachfest

When: Saturday, October 6 from 11 to 6pm

Where: Pacific Beach Boardwalk at Crystal Pier

Description: This free event will offer live music, fish taco challenges, a craft beer garden and lots of delicious eats! Bring the whole family as there will be a Kids in Action Alley that will have activities for the youngsters all day long!

 

 


What: Taste of North Park

When: Saturday, October 6 from 11 to 4pm

Where: Various Locations

Description: Try the best foods this hipster neighborhood has to offer. Tickets will be just $35 at the door for a day filled with good times and happy bellies.

 

 


What: Old Town Art Festival

When: Sunday, October 7 from 10 to 6 pm

Where: Historic Old Town

Description: Discover new art and culture at the Old Town Art Festival free event. There will be various paintings, sculptures and jewelry available for viewing and international dishes to sample!

 

 


What: Hillcrest Hoedown

When: Sunday, October 7 at 1pm

Where: University Ave

Description: Throw on your cowboy hat and buckle up your boots, Hillcrest will turn into a country fair this Sunday.  Country music will play throughout the fall festival in the heart of Hillcrest and you can even learn to line dance…and it’s all for free!
