The Classy Awards is the largest philanthropic awards ceremony in the country, celebrating the greatest charitable achievements by nonprofit organizations, socially conscious businesses, and individuals worldwide. In 2011, nearly 2,000 organizations and volunteers were nominated for a CLASSY Award, and their collective efforts impacted the lives of more than 200,000,000 people in 71 countries worldwide.
The 4th Annual 2012 Classy Awards will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 7 to 9:30pm at the Civic Theatre in downtown San Diego. The official after party will follow at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina with cocktails, light bites and entertainment. Tickets to the awards ceremony are $49 per person. Back again this year is the Classy Collaborative, a kickoff event preceding the awards show on Friday. From 8am to 6pm, the New Children’s Museum will play host to a full day of interactive networking opportunities, including keynote addresses, open forums and panel speakers, plus a celebratory happy hour.
