New Orleaners aren’t the only ones who know how to celebrate Fat Tuesday! On February 21, 2012, from 6pm to midnight, the San Diego gaslamp district will be hosting their 18th annual Mardi Gras party. With an anticipated attendance of over 40,000, the celebrations are sure to mimic, if not exceed, last years successful event! There will be five stages featuring live performances featuring guest appearances and some of the top house DJs from around the world. It wouldn’t be Mardi Gras without a parade, so you can be sure to expect a grand masquerade conquering the streets of 5th ave. Look forward to plenty of elaborate themes, entertainment…and of course, lots and lots of beads!
Tickets to this Mardi Gras madness are only $20 dollars in advance and $25 at the door; attendees must be 21 years or older and have a valid ID to enter.
