The Market Creek Events and Venues will host the 84th Annual Academy Awards viewing party, where they will embrace the excitement and glamour of Hollywood, while supporting a great cause (proceeds go to the Community Council’s Kids to Camp Program). Beginning at 5:00 P.M. on February 26th, ticket holders will sip champagne, watch the telecast, enjoy an elegant dinner, predict the winners, have a photo taken and bid on Silent Auction items. This sounds like the perfect way to watch the ceremony!

Sound Bites: Mission Monique at Mission Brewery

Mission Brewery invites everyone to come out for an afternoon of music, brew and food truck bites for a great cause on Sunday, Feb. 26th. Sound Bites: Mission Monique is a creative benefit for Monique Halgrims, a dear friend of the staff at the brewery who recently lost her home and possessions in a fire. From 2 to 7pm, 10% of all sales as well as donations will benefit Monique Halgrims.
