Where: North Park, San Diego

Description: This Sunday, get ready for the ultimate showdown in the history of World Cup. Watch Germany vs Argentina FIFA World Cup Final 2014 LIVE on BIG screen in North Park, San Diego. 30th Street will be closed from Lincoln to University for the Ultimate Fan Zone Party! Watch the World Cup Final between Germany and Argentina OUTDOORS on an 11′ X 20′ JumboTron Monitor + DJs Eddie Turbo & Prince Zohar. This event is free for all ages! Pick your team and cheer them on throughout the game.

Early birds are more like to get a good seat if they join at 9 am. Bring your blankets & beach chairs, sodas and pretzels!


Parking ‘dos’:

There will be $1 Parking ALL DAY (7 am-7 pm) in the Parking Structure on 30th & North Park Way (Entrance to the parking garage is 3829 29th Street, across from The Birch North Park Theater).

Parking don’ts:

To prepare for the Viewing Party, production will start after 2 am on Sunday Morning. On Sunday, July 13th, it is a NO PARKING Zone on 30th Street, between Lincoln & University from 3 am to 10 pm. Some other select areas surrounding the street closure will also be NO PARKING areas.

When: Saturday July 12, 2014

Where: Liberty Station, San Diego

Description: The 4nd annual San Diego Brew Fest returns to fulfill its promise and bringing another fun filled day with beer, food trucks, and music. Join us at the Liberty Station and enjoy the wares of dozens of local and international craft beers, as well as San Diego’s most popular food trucks (food sold separately).

The proceeds from the San Diego Brew Fest will benefit Noah’s B-ark Pet Rescue (95-4677862) whose chief aim is to rescue dogs from shelters and find permanent and loving home for them. The proceeds will be used for food, shelter and veterinary bills for rescued pets.

Cost: $40 for general admission (3 pm to 6 pm) and $50 for VIP (2 pm to 6 pm) and include the beer tastings.

When: Thursday, July 10, 2014, 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Where: The San Diego Museum of Art

Description: Featuring the summer exhibition Sorolla and America, Culture & Cocktails sets sail on July 10. This comes with a modern twist on Sorolla’s beach scenes and sun soaked landscapes. The event features “Valencian Grog” signature cocktails by Ballast Point, a candy bar, a photo-booth, table-top shuffle board, and other fun nautical-themed treats. The program starts this month and runs through October with the exception of July 4th and September 9th when concerts will be suspended to pay our respect to the brave men and women who have fallen.

Over-The-Line-TournamentWhat:  61st annual OMBAC World Championship Over-The-Line-Tournament

When: July 12-13th and 19-20th, 2014

Where: Fiesta Island, Mission Bay Park, San Diego

Description: OMBAC is very grateful to the City of San Diego for helping them to find a solution for the tournament players and fans of all ages.

OMBAC welcomes everyone to come to OTL and enjoy the tournament safely and responsibly (please, do not bring anything made of glass).

The games are scheduled to start at 7:30 am and will continue until dark on both weekends of OTL. Check for your start date and time on your confirmation card.

The first games will see three innings only, the 2nd weekend games four innings and Men’s Open, final Sunday will have a time limit imposed.

Double-elimination will take place for all teams in all 10 divisions so be prepared to give your best.

Over The Line is a public event and is free to watch and enjoy.

Rules will be strictly enforced:

The No “B”s: No Bottles, No Bowzers (dogs), No Boas, No Bicycles, No Babies, No Bad Attitudes, No Battles (fighting)

(OTL is a public event not appropriate or safe for children due to crowds, bat & ball related games and language)

Alcohol rules and restrictions apply as per OTL tournaments

Public displays of nudity or violations of San Diego Municipal Code (Section 56.53) are illegal and will not be tolerated.
