What: St. Patrick’s Day 2015 Parade & Festival in San Diego

Description: Come celebrate Ireland with the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. With more than 120 parade passages and thousands in participation, this has turned into one of the biggest single-day occasions in San Diego.
Join a Flag Raising function in Balboa Park at 9:45 AM. The Parade ventures off at 10:30 AM from Sixth Avenue and Juniper Street, voyages north on Fifth Avenue to Upas, then over to Sixth Avenue and South on Sixth to close at Juniper Street.

Description: Patricia Sandback celebrates her long tenure as Professor in the SDSU Dance Program with a concert that embraces both her professional and academic, past and present, choreographic life. The six dances are both reconstructions of previous dances and dances never seen before. The cast includes twenty performers with an age range of 57 years. This roster includes many of the “rock stars” of early San Diego modern dance as well as young emerging SDSU dancers from the University Dance Company. Performed by many of the “rock stars” of early San Diego modern dance.
