Description: The promoters bill this as “the largest Oktoberfest celebration west of the Mississippi,” and they expect over 100,000 attendees. The event is spread out across six city blocks in the La Mesa Village with hundreds of exhibitors, family-friendly activities, German food, music, dancing, outfits, games, and of course beer. New to the event this year is Spaten, the First Beer of Oktoberfest in Munich, in the Spaten Biergarten.

Description: The festival starts in the grassy Waterfront Park. Once night falls CRSSD presents a full after-dark program with world-class DJs performing at multiple venues across the city. Description: Join Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, for Autism Speaks Walk San Diego 2016 on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Liberty Station in Point Loma.

Over 2,500 advocates will walk to raise funds and awareness to help change the future for all of those who struggle with autism spectrum disorder. Hosted by KyXy 96.5’s Little Tommy, this fun-filled, family friendly event will feature a large autism resource fair, kid-friendly activities and live entertainment.
