When thinking about going to San Diego, there are a lot of San Diego things to do and see. It is not uncommon to see Native American rock carvings and American Indian cliff dwellings. The natural wildlife at the park is worth a day or two, with elk, deer, and many species of birds found here.

While visiting the aforementioned attractions, one of the best things to do in San Diego is to take a hike through one of its most popular hiking trails, the La Jolla Cove State Historic Site. The trail is about a half mile long and includes beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The trail also allows hikers the opportunity to view beautiful ospreys, herons, eagles, sea lions, coyotes, and many other animals. Hiking this trail allows one to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach area and the nearby desert. Many hiking tours are available, and the San Diego Natural History Museum offers educational lectures about California’s native wildlife.

If you love sea lions, birds, or fish, then the San Diego Zoo is a must see on your visit to the city. The zoo has various exhibits, and there is even a native habitat for various species of animals. This is also a good place to learn about the endangered species of animals in the area. Other San Diego things to do in San Diego beach are taking a boat tour around the harbor, strolling along the beach, or even snorkeling in some of the water.
