Description: More than 10,000 runners and walkers of all ages are expected to “move their feet before they eat” at the tenth-annual event.

The 10K and 5K runs kick off at 6:45 a.m. and 8:10 a.m, respectively, starting on historic Highway 101 at the Oceanside Civic Center and finishing on The Strand south of the Oceanside Pier. A 5K walk begins at 8:45 a.m.

All races feature live entertainment along the courses. The family-oriented event also includes kids’ runs at 10:30 a.m., a health-and-fitness expo, and a costume contest.
