Sun God Festival Battle of the Bands at UCSD Prime Center

Come watch as UC selected final contestants: The Lifted, Button Willow Locomotive, Madeline Mann, Alier and The Band, Lucinda Matlock, and We Care! rock out to compete to win the coveted prize of opening at the annual UC music fest’s, Sun God Festival, main stage. The competition begins at 8pm, but doors open at 7:30.

Let’s Play! Adult Game Night at The Creative Center

Lets Play! is the Ultimate Adult Game Night! Attendees play all the old school board games they played as kids; Twister, Hungry Hippos, Monopoly, Trouble, Clue, Rock em Sock Robots, pool, ping pong, double dutch, hopscotch, Atari, giant trike relays, air hockey…just to name a few! To make things a little more “grown up,” they’ve thrown in some hot food, a live DJ, a full bar, lots of dancing…now that sounds like a party! Let your inner child loose all night long for just $10!

ONEHOPE Family Festival/Run at Mission Bay Park

Strap on your running shoes for the 2nd Annual ACT Today! for Military Families 5k/10k Run/Walk. Not much of a runner? That’s okay, stop on by anyways for the ONEHOPE Family Festival to help raise autism awareness and make a difference in the lives of military impacted by autism. This inspiring event will feature a fun-filled family festival, vendor booths, concert performances, celebrity appearances, egg hunt for the kids, and more! Registration for the race is between $15 and $40.

A Chocolate Affair at the Maritime Musuem

From 11-4, with your entrance to the Maritime Museum, enjoy a day filled with chocolate as they kick off their new exhibit on the history of chocolate. There will be vendors showcasing & sampling various chocolate recipes, a scavenger hunt for the kids and plenty of crafts and activities, including an essay contest to decide who will be crowned the King and Queen of the Chocolate Festival!
