The Funny Farm Comedy Show at On Broadway

MikDago Productions is proud to bring you The Funny Farm Comedy Show starring Smoothini the Ghetto Houdini, who’s hilarious magic will have you speechless. Pete Loague Jr. and Rezonation will entertain during dinner while Fiduce will host the evening and bring a great lineup of comedians to the stage throughout the night. Other comedians include Chad Stellenwerf, Justin Taylor, Chip Nicholson, Mike Wentz, Geoff Armstrong and featuring Tommy Lucero. The show starts at 7pm and tickets are $10.00 online @ www.obec.tv or $15.00 at the door.

Christopher Todd Titus is an American comedian and actor who grew up in Newark, California. Titus came to national attention with the FOX show Titus, of which he was the star, executive producer and co-creator. Time called the show “brutal, hilarious and audacious”, while Newsday called him “TV’s most original comic voice since Seinfeld”. His comedy act revolves around his dysfunctional family and shocking life experiences. Tickets are $22, and the show starts at 8pm!

San Diego Symphony: Silent Film Night: The Mark of Zorro (1920) at Copley Symphony Hall

Starring Douglas Fairbanks and Noah Beery, The Mark of Zorro is a swashbuckling adventure from 1920, set right here in Southern California and accompanied by the mighty Fox Theater pipe organ. It’s full of plot twists with an irresistible blend of romance, comedy and swordplay as Zorro evades pursuit while fighting all oppressors. Some footage of this archetypical “superhero” classic is featured in this year’s Academy Award Best Picture winner and art-house smash, The Artist! Tickets are $20 and the movie starts at 8pm.

Undy 500 5k Run at Mission Bay Park

The Undy 5000 is a family-friendly 5K run/walk that was created by the Colon Cancer Alliance. It is unique because participants are encouraged to run in their boxers to bring attention to the area affected by colon cancer. We have found that by getting people talking about this disease, we can save lives! The race begins at 8am and registration is $30 in advance or $40 on race day.
