98 Bottles of Beer on the Wall….

99 bottles of beer on the wall…99 bottles of beer…take one down, pass it around…and well, you’ve got 98 Bottles of beer on the wall. Now that I’ve got your attention, and a wonderfully annoying song stuck in your head, here’s hoping you won’t forget to check out 98 Bottles, a lounge/entertainment venue, located at 2400 Kettner Blvd for some of the best food in San Diego. 98 Bottles features a farm to table menu that is as delicious as it is good for you! Flatbread pizzas, ahi tuna poke stacks, dipping platters, salads, gourmet popcorn, cheese platters, munchies and desserts. The menu changes seasonally to ensure the freshest ingredients. Everything is made in house, sourced locally and organically as much as possible, featuring San Diego food producers…yeah we’re talkin the real deal here folks. With a name like 98 Bottles, we can’t forget about the drinks. The venue features a rotating menu of the best Craft Beer, Sake Cocktails and Fun Wines around.

98 Bottles is devoted to supporting not only local farmers and producers, but local artists as well. The walls are filled with the works of rotating visual art and The Back Room is constantly stacked with music, fashion shows, Tango, tap dancing, spoken word and anything else they can think of that will inevitably entertain. All of the entertainment and events involve real people, no TV’s, no sports…just plain ole normal (and maybe not so normal) people in the flesh. This is in hopes that live interactions will lead to thoughtful conversation and maybe some new friendships along the way. And that, my fellow San Diegans, is how 98 Bottles hopes to accomplish their mission: to get you out of the house and into the moment. Cheers to that!
