No all you math nerds, this is not a day to celebrate the wonders of mathematical equations, although that may aid in figuring out the date of this awesome party…(4th month…4 squared….April 16….get it?). Foursquare day is a free event to celebrate a grass roots holiday started by Tampa Bay fans of foursquare in 2010. The idea quickly spread to communities all over the world and for the third year in a row, San Diego will be joining in on the party.
On April 16, from 6-8PM, head over to Osetra in the Gaslamp for some great drink specials and complimentary appetizers while you meet new friends and check in with your online connections in real life. There will also be a chance to win gift certificates to some of San Diego’s favorite restaurants when you check into Foursquare at the event! Don’t forget to RSVP so they have a head count to guarantee a great Foursquare Day!
