Cirque du Soleil: Totem at Del mar Fairgrounds

Cirque du Soleil’s newest show is touring San Diego, opening on Wednesday, April 25 and will be showing until May13. Totem is inspired by the process of evolution, and will surely blow your mind with incredible acrobatics, stunning contortions, alluring music, elaborate costumes, and a beautiful story.  There are a variety of tickets available, starting around $50.

The Wild Card Comedy Show at On Broadway

From 6-9pm this Friday, for only $10 online or $15 at the door, spend the evening getting an ab workout…from laughing that is.  There will be an array of hilarious entertainment. Hosted by Clutch Clint McLaughlin, the night will start off with a dinner accoustic performance by BULKY JONES. Comedy will follow with knee slapping talents of Rajan Dharni, Mike Wentz, Quartez Wynn, Fiduce and Duke Michaels.

Drew Carey Stand Up at American Comedy Co.

Seems like Friday is destined for laughter. If you’ve ever seen The Price is Right, Whose Line Is It Anyway or The Drew Carey Show…well then you are well aware of the hilarious mastermind behind the man, Drew Carey. This Friday, at 8pm come see his live stand up show at the American Comedy Co. for just $34.

Mission Federal Art Walk in Little Italy

Check out San Diego’s art scene at the 28th annual Mission Federal Art Walk in Little Italy from 11-6 this Saturday.  This festival welcomes viewers to interact with artists while enjoying the largest art event under the beautiful San Diego sunshine.

Padres FanForLife Fest at Harbor Drive Bridge

The Wave of Hope celebrates donors who have signed up through Fan For Life and it offers a visual sign of hope for the over 112,000 Americans waiting on the transplant list. Led by celebrity athletes, media and local leaders, Fan for Life teams will create a giant wave over the Harbor Drive bridge in San Diego on April 28th. There will be plenty of free food, fun, celebs, and a big wave of hope!

Co-Ed 2v2 Beach Volleyball at South Mission Beach

Get a little active this Sunday morning from 9-12 and let your competitive side let loose. Register online at www.sdbvl.com to get in the game. There will be co-ed 2 verse 2 games followed by men’s and women’s doubles games afterwards.

T-Pain at SDSU

This Saturday, world famous rap and R&B artist, T-Pain will be performing live at SDSU for GreenFest, the university’s week long event dedicated to environmental eduacation. There will be plenty of food, vendors, fun and of course, great music, so don’t miss out.

Reflective Narratives Art Exhibit at 98 Bottles

98 Bottles invites you to attend an all-female, narrative and emotionally evocative exhibition featuring artwork byDaphne Hill, Danielle Herzog, Leslee Houston, Elena Karavodin, Gloria Muriel, and Nicole Waszak. This exhibit takes place over ArtWalk weekend and is located in the Studio Arts Complex, beginning at 5pm.

Rolling Hills Spring Carnival at Rolling Hills Elementary

This Saturday from 11:30-4pm, head over to the local elementary school for the Rolling Hills Annual Spring Carnival, Food Truck Meetup and Auction! Entry is free and there will be a small charge for games, crafts, foos, inflatables and other all ages activities. And don’t forget the amazing silent and live auction, where there are tons of awesome items to be won!

Cosmic Gate featuring Emma Hewitt at Intervention

Electronic music has hit the music scene hard, and is not going anywhere soon. Intervention at Hard Rock Hotel are ready to bring the EDM trend to their weekly Sunday pool party, where German trance duo Cosmic Gate featuring live vocals by Emma Hewitt will spin a live set on April 29th from noon to 6pm. Tickets are $15.

Curren$y at UCSD Price Center

If Sunday comes and you’re not ready for the weekend to end just yet, then the UCSD Price Center is where you need to be. Jet Life Tour 2012 will be putting on a show, starting at 8, to keep the party going all night long.
