In particular, a trip to the Old Town, which is also home to some of the most exquisite buildings in the city, is well worth the trip.

To get a feel for all that San Diego has to offer, head over to La Jolla. Known for its stylish resorts, great restaurants, and gorgeous art museums, La Jolla is one of the hottest places to go on vacation. While at the beach, make sure to check out the many different beaches at Sea World, including the Wildflower Lagoon, where there are awesome water slides. At the park, consider taking a ride on a roller coaster. For those who enjoy playing in the sand, the La Jolla Cove State Park offers a wide variety of amenities for every level of skill. For more relaxation-oriented activities, take a hike up the hills around the cove or try some yoga at the park’s wellness center.

Those who love historical buildings and museums will not want to miss San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter. The largest collection of painted buildings in all of America, the Gaslamp Quarter was designed by Mexican workers in response to the prosperity in the region. Nearby is the North San Diego County beaches, including Balboa Park and Navy Pier.
