Below is a list of our favorite stretches of sand, spectacular fireworks shows around and places to watch the fireworks in San Diego:

When: Monday, July 4, 2016 at 9 p.m.
Where: Multiple Locations along San Diego Bay
Description: San Diego’s biggest 4th of July fireworks show. Four different barges launch fireworks on San Diego’s Big Bay. Take in the largest display in the county, with fireworks launched from four barges strategically placed around North San Diego Bay, they can be seen from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero area and Seaport Village/Coronado Landing. Just find a place along the bay and you will not be disappointed. Bring your lawn chairs and friends to watch the Big Bay Boom fireworks show!

Shelter Island: Catch the fireworks from this small and intimate beach spot. Shelter Island is a narrow strip of land located on Point Loma’s bay front. Harbor Island: Located near the San Diego International Airport, Harbor Island is a prime waterfront location to watch the fireworks and enjoy San Diego’s bright city skyline. 2040 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

Embarcadero: Located behind San Diego’s convention center, the embarcadero is another gorgeous bay front location to catch the firework show. Description: Celebrate the fourth of July in Ocean Beach with a fireworks display off the OB Pier. We have free parking at Main Beach Parking Lot as well as at Pier Parking Lot. Don’t forget your radio so you can hear the fireworks soundtrack being broadcast simultaneously during the show.
