San Diego Del Mar Concert Series 2012

The Del Mar Racetrack has bringing free music to where the surf meets the turf since 1944, and they have no intentions of bringing this to an end. This free Summer Concert Series has brought Race goers amazing artists including top performers such as Jack Johnson, Billy Idol and Weezer. There aren’t many other places you can go and see such quality shows from headlining acts for FREE!

Located at the west end of the Grandstand with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, the Seaside Stage hosts the concert acts and provides better access to concert-goer services and amenities. The summer concert series shows are held every Friday, select Saturdays and Sundays from July 18 through September 5. Del Mar’s concerts are FREE with racetrack admission purchased prior to the last race, an exceptional value as admission starts at just $3 for Diamond Club members (free to sign up) and $6 without Diamond Club membership. Admission for concert-goers entering after the final race is $20.

How could you pass up such an amazing deal? And don’t worry, the series is only half over and these last shows are sure to not disappoint! Here is a list of the upcoming concerts at the Del Mar Racetrack. Mark your calendars!
