What: Liquid Aloha Music Fest

When: Saturday 9/1 to from 3pm to 9pm

Where: Liberty Station

Description: Hosted by Kona Brewing Company, enjoy a taste of the Hawaiin lifestyle this Labor Day Weekend with a the Liquid Aloha Music Festival. The lineup includes The Expendables, The Nervous Wreckords, The Simpkin Project, Hi Roots and more. Tickets are $15 before August 30, $20 at the door.


What: Special Guest DJ

When: Sunday 9/2 from 2pm-8pm

Where: WorldBeat Cultural Center

Description: LED Presents will host a special Saturday edition of Sundaze at Wavehouse, featuring a top secret special guest DJ, plus supporting sets by Bobby Burns, Fyor and Mossberg Pump. Don’t miss out, this is going to be one of the biggest names in electronic dance music! General admission tickets are $45.


What: SummerSplash Reggae on the Bay

When: Sunday 9/2 from 4pm – 12am

Where: Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier

Description: The WorldBeat Cultural Center presents SummerSplash Reggae on the Bay, an all-ages mini music festival with acts to include reggae icons Barrington Levy, The Wailers, Midnite, Glen Washington, Triston Palma and Pablo Moses. General admission tickets are $55, and VIP Artist Lounge passes are $100.


What: Summer Pops Concert

When: Friday 8/31 to Sunday 9/2 at 7:30pm

Where: Embarcadero Marina Park South

Description: Enjoy Tchaikovsky’s thunderous 1812 Overture complete with booming cannons over San Diego Bay. In addition, emerging young pianist and 2011 Avery Fischer 2011 Career Grant recipient, Chu-Fang Huang, performs the thrilling Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1. Close out your summer with the Pops! Tickets are between $18 and $76.


What: San Diego Festival of Sail

When: Friday 8/31 to from 9am to 7pm

Where: Maritime Museum

Description: More than twenty tall ships and other fascinating vessels from around the world will visit San Diego, Aug 31-Sept 3. Festival visitors will enjoy touring the ships, live entertainment at the Festival of Sail main stage, marvelous food and drink from dozens of restaurant booths, a petting zoo and shop for one of-a-kind items among more than 150 festival vendors (free to public).


What: 42nd Annual Barona Powwow

When: Friday 8/31 to Sunday 9/2 from 6pm-11pm

Where: Barona Baseball Field in Lakeside

Description: Since its inception in 1970, the Tribal celebration has grown into a three-day event featuring traditional Tribal dances, signing and music, a hand drum contest, authentic Native American food and exquisite handcrafted arts and jewelry. In addition, more than 200 dancers from across the country will compete for more than $60,000 in cash prizes.


What: SoCal Music Fest

When: Saturday 9/1 from 2pm – 12am

Where: East Village

Description: Saturday September 1st will mark the launch of the inaugural SoCAL Music Festival, bringing the Southern California lifestyle to the streets of San Diego’s East Village. This all-day festival will include 4 music stages featuring DJ’s and live bands as well as interactive art exhibits displayed throughout the streets. The festival will take place from 2:00pm until midnight and will be expanded across five blocks between 9thAve and Park Blvd. Pre-sale tickets start at $40.


What: Sing, Dance, Crawl

When: Saturday 9/1 from 12pm-1am

Where: The Local (start)

Description: The Sing, Dance, Crawl will take you through multiple downtown hot spots with drink specials and live entertainment on Saturday, September 1. Meet at The Local at noon, journeying on to House of Blues for a live performance by Wayward Sons. The crawl continues on to FLUXX, Side Bar and Quality Social. Tickets start at $30 and include a t-shirt.


What: Reggae Fest ft. Ziggy Marley

When: Saturday 9/1 at 7pm

Where: Del Mar Racetrack

Description: The annual Reggae Festival at the Del Mar Racetrack is one of the biggest events of the racing season, as well as one of the last, as the season comes to a close on September 5. Check out reggae icon Ziggly Marley performing live and a craft beer fest going on all day. The concert is free with racetrack admission.


What: TrampsLikeUs

When: Saturday 8/1 and Sunday 8/2 from 9pm – 4am

Where: Valley View Casino Center

Description: LED Presents is hosting a big electronic music show over Labor Day Weekend. TrampsLikeUs is a two-day 18+ fest taking over the former Sports Arena with 16 EDM acts September 1 & 2. Pre-sale tickets are currently priced at $30 for upper bowl and $60 for floor access. VIP hosted bar two-day tickets are $240.


What: Pier Pressure Yacht Party

When: Sunday 9/2 from 3pm-8pm

Where: Grape Street Pier
