Fan Halen at The House of Blues

Voted the number one tribute band to Van Halen, this band is so close to the real thing, some of their Youtube videos have even been smacked with the warning because the music sounds so similar to the original “Your video of Fan Halen has content ID that matches and is owned or licensed by Warner Chappell.” So if you’re a fan of Van Halen, then you do not want to miss Fan Halen, this Saturday at 7pm at The House of Blues. Tickets start at around $80.

ShamROCK St. Patty’s Day Party in Downtown San Diego

Shamrock 2011

The 17th Annual ShamROCK Block Party lands on Saturday, March 17th from 2pm until midnight in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, taking over F Street from 5th to 7th Avenue, 6th Avenue between E and G Streets, and G Street between 5th and 6th Avenue, where The Pot o’ Gold main entrance will be located at 5th and G Street. It might be easier to just call this area “Ireland” as this year’s Celebration will  re-create a 150-foot Irish Pub on the streets of the Gaslamp; turn the streets green with over 80,000 square feet of green Astroturf; and with a lighting extravaganza, transform the Gaslamp Quarter into an updated version of the rolling hills of the beer lovin country! For a mere $45, get your tickets now for a day filled with delicious food, great music, and lots and lots of beer!
